Reticulating Varnish
ColorFX now offers a new custom option, Reticulating Varnish. This process is similar to that of U.V. Spotting, but provides a textured finish. It changes the texture of the paper from fine to coarse, giving you a sand on the beach, or pebble finish.
U.V. Ink Process
Since UV inks dry when exposed to UV light, the inks do not have time to soak into the paper. The ink dot is left sitting on top of the uncoated sheet, where it presents a cleaner less contaminated dot, ultimately giving more vibrant color.
Prepress
Prepress is probably the most important step in getting a print job right. This is the phase where most mistakes are either born or eliminated. When Prepress is done correctly, the possibility of having a poorly done job is virtually eliminated.
